How Capacity Building Helped Alice Reach for Her Goals

At ONCALL, we're passionate about helping people achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives. Recently, we witnessed an incredible success story through our Capacity Building program.

Jack, a dedicated father, wanted to ensure his daughter, Alice (26), could maximize the potential of her Capacity Building funding. Alice, diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Epilepsy, and Mild Asthma, had approximately $32,000 in funding allocated for Capacity Building services over the next 7 months. Jack's vision was clear and these are Alice’s goals:

  • To build literacy skills

  • To build numeracy skills

  • To gain general independence

We connected Jack with Lana, a skilled support worker who began working closely with Alice and her family. Lana tailored a program focused on building life skills that addressed Alice's goals. With 10 hours of support per week, Alice steadily progressed!

This story is a testament to the impact of Capacity Building programs. By providing the right support and resources, individuals like Alice can unlock their potential and achieve their aspirations.
