We're thrilled to announce the return of the ONCALL Sensory Lounge—our dedicated haven designed to provide peace and respite for people with disability. Formerly known as the Quiet Room, this space offers a much-needed retreat from the excitement and crowds of the Show.

Where to Find Us

From September 26 to October 6, you'll find the Sensory Lounge nestled in building 5, conveniently located next to the 9 News Lifestyles and Local Heroes Pavilion. This year, we’re proud to bring you our most accommodating and supportive environment yet, with dedicated spaces tailored for both carers and guests needing a moment to recharge.

Designed with Your Needs in Mind

Navigating large events can present challenges, especially for those using mobility aids or requiring specific support. That’s why the Sensory Lounge is equipped to meet diverse needs, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the show with greater ease and comfort. Our space features a variety of multisensory tools and activities designed to help soothe and refocus, providing an escape from the bustling show atmosphere.

In addition to our calming environment, we offer complimentary hot drinks and water to keep you refreshed. Our team of qualified ONCALL staff will be on hand to assist with any additional needs, ensuring that your visit is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

“We loved it! We used the room last year when we really needed a sensory break, and this year the bigger space was amazing. We had a really tough time last year and was really worried about how we would go this year. After being at the show for an hour, my autistic daughter was overwhelmed and asked if we could use the Quiet Room to rest. She spent almost a full hour in the dark tent! When she came out she was ready to take on the day. We left the show at 9pm! and I thank that room.
