At ONCALL, we require qualifications (minimum Certificate III) and experience (minimum 6 months) to meet industry and client expectations of knowledge, skill, and compliance. The exception is our JobReady Plus Program which is designed to select and train suitable applicants who do not have quals or experience. Usually, this is for applicants who have never worked in Disability; and are pursuing a new career path.

This course has been designed by ONCALL to provide you with the essential skills required to work in the disability sector. Further to this, one of the most common qualifications for disability support workers is a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability). This nationally recognized qualification provides training in the skills and knowledge needed to support people with a disability. The course typically covers topics such as communication, personal care, mobility, and safety.
In addition to a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), some disability support workers may also hold other qualifications such as a Certificate IV in Disability or a Diploma of Community Services. These qualifications provide additional training. This training is in management, leadership, and community development, and can help you advance your career in the field.
