NDIS JobReady program turns 1!
Our NDIS JobReady program is about to turn 1!
One of the most overused words in the corporate world is innovation. It’s a rare case when a business can genuinely say that they are truly innovative. Innovation is a new method, idea or product. Unless it’s new, it’s not innovative. Before ONCALL was founded, Anna Fleming started a company called MSSA in 1993. MSSA was the first disability and welfare labour hire agency in Australia. That was an innovation. Anna Fleming went on to create ONCALL in 2005 with the same passion to innovate and improve how disability services were provided.
THE NDIS
In 2015, the NDIS began to roll out across Australia. This saw a huge shift in how people with disability received their funding and supports. It also meant there was an exponential increase in the number of people around Australia needing support.
NDIS JOBREADY PROGRAM
Anna has always been a vocal advocate for people with disability, and when she saw the level of need for disability support workers in Australia, she began to innovate once again. She began a program that looked to attract people into the disability sector, our NDIS JobReady program. With 20% of all new jobs in Australia being in health and community services, Anna’s program to expand the disability workforce benefits the whole community.
This program provides you with a long term career path and opportunities that enables you to move into the disability sector. The training takes place in Melbourne, so you’ll need to be based here. The program is ideal for people with no experience of qualifications in the disability sector.
